(Are there pills or other treatments that can help?)

 

4. Are there any research studies or trials I can join?

(Can I get access to new treatments that are being tested?)

 

5. How will we know if my treatment is working?

(What will we look for to see if it’s helping me?)

 

6. What does the future look like with this disease?

(What might happen to me over time?)

 

7. What can I do in my daily life to stay healthier?

(Are there foods, exercises, or habits that will help me feel better?)

 

8. What side effects might I get from treatment?

(What problems could come from the medicine?)

 

9. Should anyone in my family get tested too?

(Could my kids or brothers/sisters have this too?)

 

10. Where can I find support or talk to others with this?

(Are there groups or websites where people with amyloidosis can help each other?)
